What it does

Log meals in seconds

Write "rice with grilled chicken and salad" and the app identifies each item and estimates the portions. Or just take a photo of the plate.

Your dietitian's plan, tracked

Upload the plan as Word or PDF. It becomes a daily menu with alternatives, and ticking an item off puts it straight into your diary.

Questions people ask

How many calories a day do I need to lose weight?

It depends on your height, weight, age and activity level. The usual guidance is a deficit of 15-20% below your estimated daily burn, which typically works out to losing 0.5-1 kg per week. Achalti calculates your personal target automatically and updates it as your weight changes.

How do I count calories without weighing every meal?

Weighing is why most people give up on tracking. In Achalti you type a plain sentence and the app identifies each item and estimates the portions, or you photograph the plate. You can correct anything that looks off.

Does it know the food sold in Israel?

Yes, and that is the main reason to use it here. The built-in database is Israeli, with local products and brands, rather than the American catalogue most tracking apps ship with. The interface itself runs in English or Hebrew and follows your device language.

Can I follow a meal plan from my dietitian?

Yes. Upload the plan as a Word or PDF file and the app turns it into a daily menu, including alternatives such as "egg or cottage cheese". Tick off what you actually ate and it lands in your diary with full nutrition values.

How much does it cost?

The download is free and includes a 7-day trial of every feature. After that it is 24.90 ILS per month or 149.90 ILS per year, and you can cancel any time through the App Store or Google Play.
